Affiliates

Just a quick heads-up about some of the links and posts you’ll see on this site.

When I mention a product and provide a link on my site, soundjunkee.com, it is sometimes an “affiliate link.” This means I might earn a little moolah if buy through that link.

Wondering what affiliate links are? Well, if you click on one of these links on my site and buy something, you’re actually buying directly from the seller, not from me. But companies like Amazon or others give me a small reward for bringing customers their way.

I first learnt about affiliate marketing through Wealthy Affiliate. It’s a platform that teaches how to build a website and business from the ground up. It’s awesome. So if you’ve ever dreamt of earning a bit from an online side hustle, check them out.

You’re not paying extra when you use these affiliate links. The price stays the same.

I use two types of affiliate links:

Amazon affiliate links: soundjunkee.com is part of Amazon’s Associates Program. This means I can earn a commission by linking to Amazon products. If you click on an Amazon link I provide and buy something within 24 hours, I get a small cut of that sale. But just so you know, these aren’t “pay per click” links – I only get something if you actually buy something.

Product affiliate links: These work the same way as Amazon links. If you click and buy, I get a percentage or some other type of compensation. This could be for things like e-books, online courses, etc. And again, no extra cost to you, and they’re not “pay per click”.

About sponsored content: I don’t generally do sponsored posts because I want to give you honest, unbiased info. But if there’s ever a paid sponsorship, I’ll make it super clear.

That’s about it! Just wanted you to know all this so everything’s transparent.

Thanks for stopping by! And remember to check out Wealthy Affiliate!
